Oh god is this where I'm supposed to write something witty and wonderful... Well I'm not sure I can do wit until a few coffees in, ok you got me, wine, then maybe I'm not really witty at all but I can certainly dance, no wait thats the wine again hmm. Ok, I love old buildings, eclectic interiors, textures, paint and plants. I'm obsessed with cameras and Green & Blacks ginger chocolate. I started out as a hairdressing lecturer and salon owner before retraining in interior design and floristry.
Tea with Purdey is my photo journal blog about my home and garden projects, crafts and a little bit of travel. Purdey is my beagle who keeps me company on long walks while I'm looking for foliage for my floristry business, oh by the way I'm a flower grower. I own  'A Bunch Of Wild' which is a seasonal floristry business. I grow flowers and make floral works of art which I sell through a lovely gift shop in Woburn. I also paint abstracts and contemporary landscapes in oil and acrylic and design fabric.
Most of all i've created this blog to give you something to flick through with a cup of tea that isn't Instagram scrolling and hopefully you'll have a go at one of my tutorials, be inspired to decorate a room, create your own flatlay or simply stop by for a chat.
